Sapatilhas SIREN 4 GTX cinza-azulado MERRELL

Bought these for hiking in Costa Rica. I needed something waterproof that would work in a variety of climates, and these were perfect. Very comfortable, wore them all day. Fit was perfect.

I'm a long-time Siren 3 Edge wearer. I buy 2 pairs (waterproof) every winter and 2 regular pairs every summer. Until now. This winter, I bought 2 pairs of Siren 4, tried them on briefly, and then just started wearing them. I should have taken my time. I've been trying to make these work now for 4 months, but I'm literally gritting my teeth when I wear them because I'm so uncomfortable. The sides around the ankles dig into my feet, especially on rough terrain. All the padding we loved in Siren 3 is gone from Siren 4. With Siren 4 now available, I'm thinking Siren 3 could disappear. If that's the case, I may be looking for a new brand. My feet are so unforgiving, and Merrell Siren 3 has made it possible for me to walk 2-5 miles or even more each day.

The shoes fit great and I wear them daily. Nothing better than stepping dry-footed into a puddle.

My feet stay dry when walking in wet grass. Comfortable yet sturdy.

Purchased to wear in England, for the days with rain. Yes, my feet did stay dry on two very wet days. Not my best fitting Merrill’s but fashionable to wear in England. Not suitable for the avid hiker on trails but fine for city walking.

I wore these on a camping trip driving around the Ring Road in Iceland. Great shoes! My feet stayed warm and dry the entire trip. I love how they shed water and dirt. They still look new!

I love color and love Merrell’s but for some reason these seem wide and low around ankle. I checked the box and shoe and they aren’t W and the toe box is great. The ankle feels lower than usual and it makes the foot hole huge therefore my foot moves before shoe on every step. I checked to try and change laces, but the lace holes stop before getting to ankle so unable to pull any tighter
