Great lightweight back pack. Excellent for day trips. Very happy with purchase

I love this bag. I used it to travel in Europe. Now I find myself using as my everyday bag. It is versatile with short handles, long handles and back pack straps.

This is a great, light bag for day trips. I was searching for something crossbody where I could easily reach in without taking the bag off and where it wouldn't slip off because it can only be hung on one shoulder. It is definitely convenient--and I am hoping Fjallraven makes a crossbody strap that has a more padding. I like that the backpack straps are thick and cushioned--they are very comfortable. Having said that, when you put it on as a backpack, the crossbody strap can get in the way.

I bought this to replace my Raven 28 and it falls short in every way imaginable. It's fine for when you have like two things to carry, but it is extremely uncomfortable when you actually need to lug some stuff. Only buy this if you don't really need a backpack. It's a tote bag with backpack straps, not a backpack with a tote strap. Do not buy this if you are a student who needs to lug around your books, notebooks, laptop, and food for the day. It's not a serious backpack, get the Raven 28 instead.

This is just what I was looking for. I recently had to return to the office for 3 days a week after working from home for years. I take the bus and I have to lug my laptop back and forth. I also fractured my shoulder a year ago and have had replacement surgery, so a heavy backpack is out of the question. This is lightweight and has multiple ways to carry it. I can easily carry it crossbody if I want, and the backpack straps are sewn on close to each other so when I wear it as a backpack it doesn’t cause me shoulder pain. I worked in Travel Gear for decades so I’m picky about bag quality and features. Very happy with this.

I love this bag. It’s my go-to. I just wish it was a little bigger and could hold bigger water bottles. ! I’ve tried all of the other High Coast bags, but there’s something about this one that brings me back to it.

I like the size of this bag. It's pretty floppy as other reviewers have said. I am using it for my gouache painting kit en plein air. Inside I have an REI sit mat that gives it some rigidity. It holds all of my gear. I wanted the versatility of crossbody strap and back pack straps because I will be traveling with a backpack for my clothing. The included crossbody strap is not shoulder friendly so I bought a padded strap from ALPAKA that is cushioned and much more comfortable. The new strap uses a similar attachment system so I'm all set. In a perfect world the bag would have come with a padded crossbody strap.
